Regular Giving Plan

Supporting the church's finances

Do you give regularly to the church?

If you do, do you review what you give regularly? If not, your contribution falls in value every year while our costs increase. A small increase every year makes little difference to you, but a huge difference to the church. Contact your bank to make a change (or increase what you put in your envelopes).

If you don't give regularly, please read on.

Why should we give regularly?

Our members have committed themselves to this local part of Christ's worldwide church. We share in its mission and ministry. All that we do is built on prayer and underpinned by regular giving - income that we can rely on.

Which members should give?

All who have their own income - adults with their own income who live with parents should be giving separately from them.

How should we give regularly?

By standing order or weekly offering envelope. In an increasingly cash-free age, a standing order is the more suitable method for most people.

Why can't we just put money in the collection plate?

Because that isn't regular and it isn't reliable. Giving to the church is not a matter of paying for going to a service, but of contributing to all our activities, month by month. We can't rely on money put in the offertory and we don't know how much it will be.

I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another.
